I mowed the lawn four times now, and it hasn't gotten old just yet. I'm sure Red July will come around and help me change my mind on that. Yesterday, or maybe it was two days ago I mowed just before the rain rolled up, and as I finished my last row I noticed a little girl selling lemonade.
The tradition is still alive, and it's in the hands of the 7 year-old girl across my street. It was a small Dixie cup, Easy-made Lemonade, but her smile and "thank you" was worth the 2 DOLLARS?!
What in the world is going on with our economy. I know it's a recession, but 2$ for a small Dixie of sweet lemonade, com'on!!
Maybe she's compensating for spiked gas prices.
